Version 1.00 (Shareware version)
Published by CyberWare
What it is: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
PIANO v 1.00 is a shareware product that allows a user to compose a simple
tune or melody using the keyboard as a piano. Playback, save, and load are
a few of the things featured in this first NON beta version of PIANO. All
subsequent versions are NOT completely free, however, so far there are no
real handicaps to the program to force registration. This is where the
honour system comes to play. The most useful feature (in my opinion) of
PIANO is its ability to save songs as EzyCom (a bbs program) page tunes.
This feature was added in version 0.999c and version 1.00 is the first
release to incorporate this. As far as I know, this is the only music
program that allows you to do this.
Instructions: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Operation of PIANO is pretty straightforward, so I won't go into much
detail here... To save or load press CTRL-S or CTRL-L... To save a recorded
tune as an EzyCom page tune, press CTRL-E... To change the duration of a
note, use < and >. To go back a note, press BACKSPACE (very useful if you
make a mistake!)... If you are saving as an EzyCom page, remember that you
will have to rename the file to PAGE03.EZY (or whatever) because PIANO
always saves as PAGE!!.EZY. Also, if you want to save more than one song,
you'll have to rename SAVED.PNO to something else before you save again.
LOAD always loads SAVED.PNO.
Registering: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
If you like this program, please send me what you think it is worth. Any
registrations will help us to continue to produce better and better software.
If the donation is over $5, then we will send you a letter with your account
access to download a registered copy of PIANO or any other CyberWare
products from our home BBS.
If you can't afford to send us anything, at lease write us telling us what
you think and how PIANO can be improved.
Warranty: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There is none! Of course, nothing could ever really happen from the use of
this product, but, just in case, you can't blame us!
Legal Stuff: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
You can't edit, change, or reverse-engineer this product, or
the archive it came in (Zip comments are allowed). You can't blame CyberWare
or it's members or me for anything... I don't see what could happen, but I
should probably say this, just in case.
